Electron spin resonance (ESR) studies were carried out for 2 mM 14N-labeled deuterated 3-methoxycarbonyl-2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-pyrrolidine-1-oxyl (MC-PROXYL) and 3-carboxy-2,2,5,5,-tetramethyl-pyrrolidin-1-oxyl (carboxy-PROXYL) in pure water and various concentrations of liposomal solution by using an L-band ESR spectrometer. The ESR parameters, such as the line width, hyperfine coupling constant, g-factor, rotational correlation time and partition parameter, were reported for the samples. The changes in the line width were observed for 14N-labeled deuterated MC-PROXYL and carboxy-PROXYL in liposomal solution. The hyperfine coupling constant was observed for both nitroxyl spin probes. The permeable and impermeable nature of nitroxyl radicals was demonstrated using the ESR L-band spectra. The rotational correlation time increases with increasing concentration of liposome. The partition parameter for 14N-labeled deuterated MC-PROXYL in liposomal solution increases with increasing concentration of liposome, which reveals that the nitroxyl spin probe permeates into lipid membrane. The lipid peaks were observed for 2 mM 14N-labeled deuterated MC-PROXYL in 200, 300 and 400 mM liposomal concentration. The lipid peaks were not observed for 14N-labeled deuterated carboxy-PROXYL. These results indicate the permeable and impermeable nature of 14N-labeled deuterated nitroxyl spin probe.  相似文献

We have successfully synthesized chiral β-amino trifluoromethyl alcohol (2S,3S)-7a, which is a key intermediate in the production of AE-3763, by stereoselective reduction of N-Cbz-protected 5-hydroxy-5-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-oxazolidine 4 prepared from L-valine in 3 steps followed by alkaline hydrolysis. Abstract  

In this paper, a new experimental technique for generating anaglyph stereo images for three-dimensional visualization of sculpture arts is proposed. The images are taken at fixed distance using the imaging system consisting of single CCD camera and turntable. This system allows generation of stereo images at variable distances from the target object. The feasibility study of this technique is demonstrated by showing some anaglyph stereo images of a sculpture art.  相似文献

We construct infinitely many Einstein-Weyl structures on of signature (− + +) which is sufficiently close to the model case of constant curvature, and on which the space-like geodesics are all closed. Such a structure is obtained as a parameter space of a family of holomorphic disks which is associated to a small perturbation of the diagonal of . The geometry of constructed Einstein-Weyl spaces is well understood from the configuration of holomorphic disks. We also review Einstein-Weyl structures and their properties in the former half of this article. A comparative study of tissue redox-status imaging using commonly used redox sensitive nitroxides has been carried out using electron paramagnetic resonance imaging (EPRI), Overhauser magnetic resonance imaging (OMRI) and conventional T(1)-weighted magnetic resonance imaging, MRI. Imaging studies using phantoms of different nitroxides at different concentration levels showed that EPRI and OMRI sensitivities were found to be linearly dependent on line width of nitroxides up to 2 mM, and the enhancement in MRI intensity was linear up to 5 mM. The sensitivity and resolution of EPRI and OMRI images depended significantly on the line width of the nitroxides whereas the MRI images were almost independent of EPR line width. Reduction of the paramagnetic 3-carbamoyl-2,2,5,5-tetramethylpyrrolidine-1-oxyl (3CP) by ascorbic acid (AsA) to the diamagnetic by hydroxylamine was monitored from a sequence of temporal images, acquired using the three imaging modalities. The decay rates determined by all the three modalities were found to be similar. However the results suggest that T(1)-weighted MRI can monitor the redox status, in addition to providing detailed anatomical structure in a short time. Therefore, a combination of MRI with nitroxides as metabolically responsive contrast agents can be a useful technique for the in vivo imaging probing tissue redox status.  相似文献

We construct examples of singular self-dual Zollfrei metrics explicitly, by patching a pair of Petean’s self-dual split-signature metrics. We prove that there is a natural one-to-one correspondence between these singular metrics and a certain set of embeddings of RP3RP3 to CP3CP3 which has one singular point. This embedding corresponds to an odd function on RR that is rapidly decreasing and pure imaginary valued. The one-to-one correspondence is explicitly given by using the Radon transform.  相似文献

The tetragonal compound UNi2Si2 exhibits in zero magnetic field three different antiferromagnetic phases belowT N =124 K. They are formed by ferromagnetic basal planes, which are antiferromagnetically coupled along thec-axis with the propagation vectorq=(0, 0, q z ). Two additional order-order magnetic phase transitions are observed below T N , namely atT 1=108 K and T 2=40 K in zero magnetic field. All three phases exhibit strong uniaxial anisotropy confining the U moments to a direction parallel to the c-axis. UNi2Si2 single crystals were studied in detail by measuring bulk thermodynamic properties, such as thermal expansion, resistivity, susceptibility, and specific heat. A microscopic study using neutron diffraction was performed in magnetic fields up to 14.5 T parallel to the c-axis, and a complex magnetic phase diagram has been determined. Here, we present the analysis of specific-heat data measured in magnetic fields up to 14 T compared with the results of the neutron-diffraction study and with other thermodynamic properties of UNi2Si2.  相似文献
